High-desert charm in the midst of cowboy town. – In Short This cantina's draw is its relaxing outdoor patio with a duck pond, tucked away behind high adobe walls. Pond-view dining spots are available inside, too, which features private partitioned tables perfect for quiet romance. Start with the appetizer sampler platter, containing flautas, tostadas, beans and a creamy pollo fundido. Or, try the chili relleno Mexicano, stuffed with chicken and ladled with ancho chili sauce.

User review by heidime5 – My boyfriend and I went there a few years back for Valentine's day. It was raining so we could not eat out in the patio as originally planned, however they sat us in a very nice spot where we could see outside. The mood was perfect with their little private booths, mariachi band and candle lit dinner. We looked out into the small lake while it rained and it looked like we were in Mexico. It was beautiful, wonderul service and the food was good. Don't recommend the seafood...it needed more flavor. Bu... read more

AWESOME!!! – A friends mom took my friend and I here the first time for dinner and I fell in love with it! The food is pretty good, service is awesome, margaritas are pretty strong (well at least for me), and the atmosphere...can you say...beautiful, peaceful, and fun all at the same time. Sitting outdoors next to the pond is mandatory! I've taken many friends there afterwards...and they all brag about what a great place it is. Price I would say is average...had the Chimichanga combo and a margarita...$15-20 including tip wh... read more

Thumbs up! – Mango Margarita is a must! Food is awesome. A little pricey though. Atmosphere is out of this world especially outside/patio or inside booths next to pond. Need to impress someone? Take them to this restaurant for an unforgetable experience. Large place, but it can get very crowded. A++

!!Es muy bueno!! – El Encanto is amazing and the word is spreading. If you go, call ahead for reservations and request patio seating. The patio seating is unbeatable with an upfront view of a quiet secluded pond shaded by gorgeous trees. The salsa and chips are fresh, homemade and craveable. Top favorites are the chicken mole, pollo fundido and margaritas. If you go at sundown, you may see the resident great horned owl.
