My husband lived here in 2019-2020. The leasing agent Jennifer was pocketing his rent money apparently. She has been fired from the company.... they accused him of squatting and kicked him out... they put on his credit he owes over $2,000 for non-payment or breaking leasing.. which was not true. Im trying to find out if this is even legal. Sherri, the one working there now, will not help us. Ive been working on it since april when we tried to rent apartment. "A Wonderful Place to Live!" I’ve had the pleasure of living at El Cid Apartments in Baton Rouge, and I can honestly say it’s been an amazing experience. The staff here is incredibly friendly and always goes above and beyond to make sure that residents are taken care of. From the very first day, they made me feel welcomed and valued. I highly recommend El Cid Apartments for anyone looking place to live in Baton Rouge. It’s truly a great place to call home!
I've been living at these apartments for over 10 years. A safe and quiet place. Ideal for students. Friendly staff and management. Very reasonable rent considering they are situated so close to the LSU campus.
Avoid living here if you have other options. The apartment is infested with cockroaches, which is super disgusting. The leasing office staff are awful people; they increased the rent every six months and kept my deposit for no reason. Greedy people.
Outdated and to expensive LOTS of electrical issues. We have had 4 electricians come out and still haven't fixed the flicking/power fluctuations Cabinet doors falling apart It's a small community with a nice pool. But it's way to expensive with how rundown and old it is. Lots of noise/activity next door to. Cops constantly being called across the street
