A Southwestern landmark for almost 70 years, the lodge is one of the longest-running restaurants in the Valley. One of the area's best locations, at the base of Camelback Mountain, makes this a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike. The patio is a renowned gathering place for cocktails, sunset views and dining. Classic continental specialties are well prepared and served by a veteran staff. The famous "sticky buns" are served with every meal, as they have been for decades. Happy hours are on from 4p to 6p daily.

I took a group of 11 (my board officers) there last evening. We hold board meetings and conventions all over the country and it is hard to wow me. But El Chorro did. Amazing food. Every appetizer, side and entre was unique, flavorful and yummy. The staff never missed a beat. Unobtrusive, but always there to clean, replace and refresh (plus to refill the wine glasses too)! The wine selection was outstanding and very reasonably priced. Amazing dining experience.
