Perfect the food was great i had the chicken and my husband was jealous, my son adored his food and of course the chips and salsa were great. Our drinks were always full and it wasnt that much money.
Best for your Buck! This place is great. It has the best mexican food in town, and is not annoyingly packed. I loved the fajitas, and the salsa is abosolutely amazing! The chips are served hot and fresh!
Really Great Mexican-American I used to live near the Mexican border in California. This place reminds me of the GOOD restaurants. Their guacamole is 5 stars. It's a big place with a friendly staff. Lots of yummy drinks. The food is excellent. Their Ribeye is amazing. I love their chimichangas. It's a little more expensive than your average Mexican place but a lot better quality. My husband and I had 2 meals a large beer and guacamole and it was a little over $40.
Awesome Food, Great Prices My husband and I love going there. The food is awesome and well worth the prices there. Our drinks are always topped off also. We have always had service with a smile. Out of all the Mexican Resturants around here this is the one and only place that I go to.

GREAT FOOD GREAT SERVICE!!!! – They make the best chips & salsa in town. The top shelf guacamole made fresh at your table is truly the best I have ever had. The food was great the service was outstanding. Thanks El Chico for a wonderful dining experience.
AWESOME TEX MEX – This restaurant serves the best Tex Mex in Central Texas. I hope everyone who reads this give them a try it was AWESOME!!!
Serving up heaping portions of Mexican favorites since 1940. – In Short This Southern chain serves Tex-Mex and Mexican staples to large groups and families who come to gab over unlimited chips and hearty food staples. The Southwestern decor features bright colored walls and thick terracotta-tiled floors. Classic El Chico combinations, around since the company started in 1940, heap tamales, cheese enchiladas and refried beans on one plate. Tex-Mex items represent tastes for fajitas, soft tacos and enchiladas verde.
Not all that it's cracked up to be. Needs better food and service.
