Update: El Centro needs a new hospital, the building is a monster from the 50's. Maybe with the Lithium Valley, upgraded facilities could change the landscape and culture of care. I will continue coming to Yuma, but do believe El Centro needs a full upgrade. Before Update: I recommend seeking care elsewhere if you're assigned to the nurse practitioner. This er is the worst never ever go there, just opt to go to brawley or san diego. Now worth wasting your time here.
Very bad...if you are dying they might help...but if you aren't dying in the next hour... prepare to wait 8plus hours....never was told the results of my blood work...or told anything about the growth on my neck....I am pissed
Mom has been in ER since Saturday, waiting to be placed in a hospital room because she will need to be admitted! Today is Monday 4/7, I have been told some patients have had to wait up to 5 days! That is just unacceptable. The response I’m given is they’re waiting for the Charge Nurse to place the patient.
Horrible. I waited for over 3 hours, in a filthy waiting room, feeling like I was dying. Just so they could tell me I have covid, to go home and stay away from people. But then they're having me sit in the waiting room with everyone else for another hour to get my discharge papers,which i never did. I asked one of the RN's about it and all she said "you're not the only one with covid just go sit over there."
