I reach the hospital at 12:12 with a really bad injury they checked me in and they didn’t do an x-ray till 4:00. It is now 5:42 and I still haven’t gotten the results. They don’t check on you or make sure you’re ok. If you had a serious injury you would die before they see you. No should be waiting that long for a x-ray or to be seen
I had kidney stones! I started out at Pioneers in Brawley, however their resident urologist was on vacation so they transported me to El Centro. Transport was the bomb, they transported me without incident, with care and professionalism the whole way, a body can't be mad at that. Upon being placed in a room, which I am pleased to say was quite quickly facilitated, I then found myself being attended to by staff and being prepped for the procedure. I do have a ?? Good service , second to none.
Wonderful nurses. Small facilty, affiliated with u California SanDiego, transferred me to SanDiego for more complex care. Had a bad incompetent ER MD in el Centro. Covenient to mexicali border crossing
Update: El Centro needs a new hospital, the building is a monster from the 50's. Maybe with the Lithium Valley, upgraded facilities could change the landscape and culture of care. I will continue coming to Yuma, but do believe El Centro needs a full upgrade. Before Update: I recommend seeking care elsewhere if you're assigned to the nurse practitioner.
