best of maple valley Great family oriented environment. Food above average compared to similar local options. Staff warm, and even when stumbling over pronunciations, or needing more explanation on a given entree, I overwhelmingly felt like part of a family (w/strangers no less!!).
Decent Mexican Food The food here is decent, but it's a fun place to stop for drinks. It's also one of the only Mexican restaurants in Maple Valley. The food and drinks are priced well. I always have a decent time.
Excellent Family Restaurant We have enjoyed El Caporal for many years now. Both as an inexpensive lunch outing for my husband and I or as a dinner outing for the whole family. Our children enjoy eating here as the staff always treats them as individuals who matter! I recommend this place as a great restaurant for families with children!
Consistently good Mexican fare Lots of seating, fairly standard American Mexican menu, nothing remarkable. Never had a bad meal that I can remember. Parking is plentiful, since the Safeway moved to the mall across the street.
Great home town restaurant. We love this place! The food is great and the staff is so friendly. They remember us when we go and always greet us and our kids when we come. The food never takes very long and the serve staff is polite and quick. Their prices are great compared to other restaurants in the area. They have lunch special prices as well.
