Not a fancy restaurant by any means but it doesn’t matter because the food was so delicious. We liked both the faux chicken and steak as they were flavored extremely well and didn’t have an artificial taste like other places that use soy protein. Highly recommend their enchiladas (not too cheesy), tacos and burritos. Lines can get pretty long after 7:30 so be prepared!
We were visiting the area and were so happy to find this little storefront vegan Mexican restaurant. Everything we ordered was delicious and fresh, with very fast and friendly service. If we lived here, we would come all the time!
Best local mexican food on monterey!
Everything is vegan! The BBQ chicken burrito was vegan. The food we ate was luscious. It's Mexicn food, so exactly what you would expect for the menu. But the taste was no compromises. Outside dining, and a view of the Bay. The seating is no frills, but the staff was great. We bought more food to go! If you are staying at the hostel, this place is a block away.
