GROSS! Will NEVER go back.... This place gets one star for their chips & salsa, which were good, but that's where the good food ended. Somewhat dirty restaurant & my menu was dirty. I am from the Phoenix area & have definitely had some excellent Mexican food in my life. The cheese enchiladas here had a red sauce on them that tasted like spaghetti sauce. Weird tasting cheeses were on a few of our selections too. I won't go back here, even if I get a free dinner.
Authentic but inattentive I've been here twice, and I have to say I like their food a LOT. Very authentic fare and atmosphere, very Mexican. But the servers, at both visits, tended to forget things, and they were inattentive. There are runners that bring your food out, so once you give your order to the server you might not see him again until you are finished eating! Authentic Mexican food in Pittsburgh! Driving through North Hills tonight, looking for someplace to eat, happened upon this by accident. On a whim we went in, and were very glad we did. Full menu of authentic mexican fare, priced very reasonably. When you sit down you get the basket of chips and salsa (which I loved, it was more saucy than chunky). Good Authentic Mexican Food Great place to take the family. Its affordable and the food is good. My children especially like the cheese dip appetizer. Location convenient too!
