Golden's best Mexican – Excellent service, family atmosphere, good magarita's use the better tequlia to avoid headache. Very reasonable prices
REALLY GOOD MEXICAN FOOD – me and my family have been going to this best mexican restaurant in golden for the pass 8 year and it never get old. el amigo has been around for 24 yeah and we hope i'll be there for a other 24 yeah to come. thanks to all the staff that work at el amigo, you guys always take good care of use
I've been eating at this restaurant for a decade now. It's a little hole in the wall that is family owned and operated. You get bottomless chips and salsa which I started taking out large quantities when I made visits from Atlanta. Same with the "to die for" beef enchiladas. I'd have them prepare them and I'd fill my carry on suitcase to take home. Unfortunately I can't do that anymore due to the new liquid policies at the airport. Authentic food with friendly family atmosphere El Amigo comes through on every level. The food is awesome, the service is great and it provided an atmosphere suitable for family dining. We'll be back for sure and look forward to becoming a regular in this wonderful establishment.
if you love hot and spice with a cold beer – I was told about this place from a good friend, he said they really had hot chile. from 1X to 5x the hottest. he was right, i dont think ill do the 5X again but its was great free chips and salsa all you want. full bar and its family owned and operated so you get great service. i drove 15min to get there and Im going to do it again..
