Stopped by this past Friday night for dinner , food was good but this time our regular dishes were very wet in the bottom. My husband always has the molcajete , in the past it has come out sizzling hot and piled up with lots of veggies & protein this time it looked weak , it was hot but not sizzling & there was a lot of juice in the bottom of his bowl which he does not remember from the past 4 times that he's eaten that dish . AWFUL! My fiancé ordered for us through DoorDash and I ordered carnitas with EXTRA QUESO AND REFRIED BEANS. When we got the food an hour and a half later, the only thing they gave me was soggy tortillas and crappy beef. No queso, no beans. So I had to go get queso and beans myself, I put them on the beef and tortillas and tried it and it tasted awful. And to top it all off, we found a HAIR on my food! Never EVER ordering from there again.
Always a great experience! Love going out to eat at El Agave's! Authentic food! fast friendly service!
