We hired Edward Curti owner of Ekolu Electric to do some electric work in our condo before we listed it for sale. We ended up moving to the mainland but paid Ekolu Electric in full. The work was done but he didn't secure the permits. After more than a year of unanswered calls from the mainland we finally called the building department in Hawaii to find out that the permit was never picked up.
