RUN AWAY!! I deeply regret going to him for my pituitary macroadenoma biopsy. I tear up thinking about how much I regret it. A friend in the ER recommended I didn’t due to the high amount of people that come to her ER from complications of his surgeries. I thought there’s no way it can be that bad, and opth told me I need the surgery asap (macroadenoma pressing in my optic nerve). And I had no clue how to find another surgeon. I got second opinions at MGH and the experience was 180deg. Most notably confidence in diagnosis (t... read more

I had a hemilaminectomy and discectomy with Dr Kasper and he is truly phenomenal. I am a nurse myself, and I’ve worked in neurosurgery and currently work in the recovery room; so I’ve seen both ends of what I was going through. The amount of anxiety I had being an inpatient in the hospital was completely lessened when Dr Kasper came to speak to me. He pulled up a chair and took his time to explain everything to me. I was balling my eyes out, and he still remained so patient and never once made me feel as if he was rushed. Hi... read more

I'm writing this for my Grandmother who is 81. Dr. Kasper removed a brain tumor for her this year and I can honestly say he made it seem almost as simple and safe as getting a cavity filled. Every step of what he proposed and eventually did was explained to us simply and with complete empathy and patience. He and his entire staff went above and beyond to give her the knowledge she needed to feel comfortable, safe and confident with.... brain surgery. I can't underline that fact enough. Dr. Kasper continues to follow up with ... read more

It is impossible for me to thank him enough for what he and his team has done for me. I had a severe back injury and was in the most unbelievable pain. I could not walk. They gave me my life back. I'm not 100% yet, but am on my way to walking normal again. You take a simple thing like walking for granted until you can't do it anymore. I just don't know how to thank them enough. Every person in that office was helpful and kind. A great team.

Smart, knows what he’s doing! Stars taken off due to the experience, constant dreadful struggle to communicate the entire time. No office visit notes, I had to physically go down there more than once to talk to someone. It was very difficult because I don’t want to be that person. This is after he performed pituitary surgery and I’d constant unbearable migraines since the surgery thru 8/27-9/22. All other specialists referred me back to him. It “might have had to do with” the Steward takeover but the experience was too miser... read more
