I was dealing with several issues with my hand. Dr. Bonatz was recommended by several people as well as my physician. He quickly diagnosed my conditions and provided the information i needed to make a decision regarding treatment. I was very pleased with the outcomes of my surgery and am grateful to have had the opportunity to be treated by him.

Dr Bonatz recently repaired damage to my right hand. He has previously operated on both wrists and the results were perfect. He takes the time to thoroughly explain the problem and the solution. After surgery, Cathy Dollar, across the hall at Southlake Physical Therapist did a great job of explaining the necessary exercises to do at home

Bad bedside manner, bad communication, rushes patients through surgery, and I'm worse than before the operation. Proceed with caution with this doctor!

Dr. Bonatz performed surgery to correct Dupuytren's Contracture. Two days following surgery I experienced renal failure and hypertension. I was instructed by his office to go to the emergency room at Grandview. I did and was released 4 days later. The renal failure and hypertension were not caused, apparently by the surgery. Even though I was in the Southlake Office several times after the surgery, Dr. Bonatz never saw me. The finger that was operated on has not recovered as intended.

The front desk staff at the Grandview location was incredibly friendly, and the support staff was helpful and knowledgeable as well. However, that is where my positive review ends…. I saw Dr. Bonatz upon referral from my PCP for a diagnosis of forearm tendonitis and "golfer's elbow," as Dr. Bonatz is a specialist. I have to agree with another review of Dr. Bonatz’s wrote that “he did nothing but waste my time and gas, and he only did was an X-ray and tell me I needed therapy (for 2-3 weeks).”

I saw Dr Bonatz today for the first time and he was the best doctor I've ever seen. So attentive and kept asking if we had any questions. Really put me at ease and explained everything to me, even showing me exactly where my fracture was located on a skeleton model. So great!

He did surgery on my left hand and it took way longer than expected! I had had previous surgeries in the UK but no good, he finally sorted the multitude of issues and more importantly I am now pain free! This in itself is the greatest gift as I had suffered years of pain and lack of use. I now can ride my motorcycle again and do everything I could do prior to my accident.

I already had an mri and my primary and i knew i had a tumor in my hand and that is why i was there. Dr Bonatz had already reviewed the report before walking in bc I heard him speaking about it outside the door. He walked in the door and no joke the FIRST thing out of his mouth was 'you know you're fat don't you'. Needless to say he did not perform my surgery. He was also planning to make TWO 4-6 inch cuts. The Dr who did it made One 1.5 inch cut. Need.I.Say.More?

this man is such a blessing from heaven he used tobe at the uab kirklin clinic as i child i almost lost my right arm n wrist n all but he performed a miracle surgery when i was 16... im 34 now and still cry happy tears becuase i have full use of my right side... i highly recommended this man as a teen and still do as an adult... hes a miracle maker and im forever greatful to him....
