I’ll be honest in that I didn’t love my hair and makeup trial but I’m so happy I did it cause it made me truly think harder about what kind of hair and makeup I wanted. I think the trial might’ve fallen short cause I didn’t give clear instructions in all the specifics (ie, blush placement and color, etc). EJ and her team CAME THROUGH on my wedding day. Loved my hair and makeup. My bridesmaids also raved about their looks. No complaints at all.
EJ and her team did the hair and make up for me and my wedding party (including our moms). I also booked a trial wedding make up session with her weeks before the actual wedding day. I don’t usually wear makeup, so I was really nervous about not looking like myself or feeling overdone—especially with so many people seeing me all at once. Could not recommend EJ enough. She did the hair and makeup for my wedding, and I can honestly say that I have never felt as beautiful as I did that day, and it was largely thanks to EJ. We had done a HMU trial nearly a year prior, and had last minute changes - added hair extensions, changed ceremony hair style, had multiple hair/makeup changes throughout the day - and she knocked it out of the park. E.J. was a pleasure to work with for my wedding day and made me feel so so beautiful. I wanted a makeup artist who was able to combine Korean and Western makeup styles (for reference, I am Korean-American) and she did that perfectly. She was also quite reasonably priced. She did both my hair and makeup, and on the day of she came with an assistant hair stylist and an assistant makeup artist (for myself, 7 bridesmaids, and MOB and MOG).
