Tried to call to book a new patient appointment and the girl Alecia who answered the phone was extremely rude and not welcoming at all, I just hung up because she made it very uncomfortable. Maybe hire staff that cares for patients and doesn't scare them away.
This place is a scam. I'm new to Palm Springs. I scheduled an annual physical with Dr. Mark Salama which is covered by insurance. They coded it as an office visit and billed me $544.31 as an office visit. I called and asked them to correct the coding and they refused saying I need an office visit before an annual physical if I don't have a history. Nobody mentioned this when I made the appointment and no other doctor ever required this in the past. Customer Service refused to help. They just said I owe the money.
I have a great physician with a convenient location.
The wife and I are very pleased with Dr. Yalda Chalabi. She is very professional, knowledgeable and a great listener. Very happy to have her as our PCP!
