I'm trying to find a new primary care doctor. Few doctors accept new patients, and most have been physicians for less than five years. This is concerning if you have complex medical needs. The profiles for the doctors that are accepting new patients have no information about the doctor other than where they graduated college from and where they did their residency. Re: Rim Rock Eisenhower Center in Palm Springs. The amount of reschedules I have had to endure with this office is unacceptable. All within a week of my upcoming appointment the most recent was yesterday for an appointment scheduled months ago for 10/29 which has now been postponed to 11/22. I will be looking for a new MD as the one I currently have clearly has other priorities. I fully understand when emergencies arise, that is not the issue. My husband age 66 suffered a catastrophic brain stem stroke last Jan. He was in ICU, intermediate and rehab in Las Vegas. We moved back to CA for medical care accessibility as Nevada is not superior yet though we had a few excellent people in UMC and a rehab. We got an appointment with Dr. Mahmodian on Wednesday.
