I really should have known better than to seek care with this department but finding a GI doc in Southern California is very challenging, and I needed some follow up care. However, the incompetence I've gotten from this team before, and from all of Eisenhower, floated once again to the surface. It’s ridiculous trying to get a doctor in this clinic. You have to wait for months for an appointment. It’s ridiculous.
Kiesha who answered the phone, was so rude. Horrible attitude and talks down to you.
Perhaps it's a symptom of the state of our health care system resulting in insufficient doctors with this specialty, but Eisenhower does not have enough of them, resulting in it taking months and months to obtain all of the necessary tests to reach a diagnosis in a difficult case, such as mine. There is no doubt in my mind that delayed diagnosis is causing the death of people who could have been successfully treated. I've never even seen my gastroenterologist except right before I was sedated for him to perform an endoscopy ... read more
