RecommendedOn time and under budget! I highly recommend Will and his work. I’m a diesel mechanic myself, but gear setup is a specialty that requires tools and experience I don’t have. Eighty-Ninety was recommended to me by a guy I met at a Overland-ish gathering. He replaced my 4runner axle bearings cheaper than I expected and fast. Later, he regeared my old 12-valve and added a TrueTrac. Today he changed the break-in oil in both diffs quick and for a nice price. Unusually straightforward an honest man.

After getting denied by Toyota for the frame rust recall/frame replacement I struggled to find a shop that was willing to repair and/or replace a section of my frame. Will provided a very reasonable estimate within minutes of requesting one via IM. I had allocated an entire week for the repair but he had it repaired within a day and a half. Thank you Will for your top notch work, attention to detail and catering to the needs of the offroad community. Highly recommended!

Will is a great guy and an awesome gear specialist/mechanic. He’s done several jobs for my Tacoma including a regear and disc break conversion. Prices were fair, and most importantly he’s honest, and transparent. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Will to anyone or to go back myself.

This shop upgraded my GM 12 bolt differential in June with a True-Trac posi unit, new ring and pinion and Strange axles. It's quiet and and works flawlessly. Will is a super nice guy to deal with and must be OCD like myself due to the quality of his work. I’m headed back next month with a new project.
I had a set of 4.56 gears installed in my 2012 Ram. I'm running 37s and that gear combination woke the truck up!! High quality install in all aspects, no whine at all from the gears. Strongly recommend eighty-ninety if you are looking to upgrade your gearing!
