Great looking place and impressive menu, but unfortunately never got a chance to try the food or drinks. With only 4 other people at the bar at 6:30 on a Tuesday, I gave up on getting service after a 25-min wait with only a very brief appearance by the bartender (who never returned to take my order). Can't imagine how long it would taken to get a drink and dinner after that-
We were visiting the state and heard we should make this place a stop. We were seated quickly and then nothing. Not one person checked on us, brought us water, nothing. It was 6:30 on Wednesday night and the restaurant was maybe 1/4 full. Lots of employees hanging around the bar area, talking to each other. No one moved quickly. I was in Eight Settlers for a work dinner event so factor that into my ratings. At a long table with several foreigners and background noise you have a different experience than if you have a table for 4 in one of the side alcoves the restaurant offers. I like that the menu had only 5 to 7 choices for the starters, mains and fewer for the salads, you're not looking thru pages and pages so choosing is quick. My wife loves the Pear Burrata Salad. I switch it up, this time I got the Salmon and Couscous. The Short Rib Grilled cheese is usually my go-to. My brother liked the braised beef. We've also been happy with their brunch options.
