Understanding, compassionate and very helpful
Dr. Habibpour is the man! Hard to find a down to earth doctor who actually listens to his patients and doesn’t overmedicate. Forever grateful.
I agree with the last reviewer. He just stares at you and it’s very awkward. We would go half the session just sitting in silence. He’s also very expensive and knew that I was struggling financially but made it seem like I was stuck with him and didn’t care about my financial struggles and would constantly yell at me that i needed to pay. As the other reviewer said he doesn’t know how to deal with crying. He just stares at you, making it more awkward. Overall wouldn’t recommend.
He is very nice and helpful. I think he would be a great fit for a lot of people. His technique is a bit weird and not my cup of tea. He just stares at you for minutes (that seem like forever) and I guess he’s waiting for you to say something? Idk I don’t like that tactic just makes me feel uncomfortable. Another thing, while he is great with prescribing (mostly), He doesn’t really know how to deal with panic attacks and crying...he just stares which just increases my panic.
