First day of 2026 we were happily surprised the tasting room was open, lucky us! As a wine enthusiast, EHRET did not disappoint with their varietal’s and blends. Our wine educator Alex, guided us through the tasting menu and shared the wine makers expertise and passion to produce phenomenal wines. Add EHRET to your tasting itinerary, it’s a must!
Ehret Wines was a highlight of our trip. Alex was warm, easygoing, and clearly knows his stuff, but what really stood out was how generous he was with local advice. We left with honest and solid food recommendations that made the rest of our stay even better. The wines define value, easily drinking better than bottles twice their price. Ehret Vineyard & Tasting Room is an absolute gem in Healdsburg and easily one of the highlights of our visit. From the moment we walked in, the space felt warm, intimate, and thoughtfully curated. It was beautiful without being pretentious, and clearly focused on letting the wine speak for itself. And speak it does. An excellent wine tasting experience. Ehret wines are amazing. The Merlot and Cabs are great. Christian and Alex really know their wines. We visit every time we go to Healdsburg.
We tasted the 2024 Sauvignon Blanc during our visit to their member pick up party at the Flamingo resort hotel. This wine is always our favorite to start our family dinners. Very crisp with hints of grapefruit that goes well with everything. The rest of their line up of Zins,Cabernets, and Merlot was a tasting experience we hope others try.
