I am a female Canadian Forces Veteran so I know what it’s like to be treated like garbage by a governing body and Bellwood is %100 on point. I attended the Trauma and Psychological Injury Program with nothing around substance abuse or addiction. I was treated like an addict by being breathalyzed after Occupational Therapy outtings. My experience here was not the greatest however there are some good people within Bellwood. My PC Edward was a good man & so was Dr. Weiss. I forget the ladies position but Nadine was also super helpful. However the Nurse practitioner Tanya was extremely rude, not helpful at all when I was begging for help for a problem I knew I had, was ignored. My situation has elevated into severe herniated discs which I was dismissed for every time I tried to seek help & was given an ice pack & stretches which I followed accurately. I ne... read more
I owe so much to all staff at Bellwood from Dr Weiss to my Psychotherapist Edward to all nurses, SCs, all educators , kitchen crew and cleaning crew all made me feel welcomed , cared for and that I truly mattered . Without Bellwood can honestly say I would not be here today . This place is truly amazing I will be forever grateful for the knowledge I gained from absolutely everyone I met there . Staff and clients !!
Most staff were great the others no so great Like the program however they still haven’t sent me my $54,000 sweater or graduation certificate
