Dr Ehmer asked thoughtful questions and listened intently to my answers. He was thorough and educated me about what was happening with my body. I left with a clear plan in place.
He is friendly and does not get in a hurry, spends time answering your questions and giving you options.
Hearing loss
Very thorough and friendly. He performed a Sinuplasty on me a few months ago, procedure was quick and easy. My sinuses haven’t felt this good in many years.
My family has seen Dr. Ehmer since 2018 and my 3 year old daughter just had tubes done by Dr. Ehmer in 2023. They charged me as a NEW PATIENT for an appointment in January 2025 stating that I had not been there in 3 years. Personally, that is correct. My last service for myself was in 2021. BOTH OF MY daughters had tubes from them and the most recent procedure was within 3 years. They charged me $200 extra for my personal appointment as a new patient. My 3 year old did not consent, drive herself, or pay for the tubes. I DID.... read more
Dr. Ehmer does not accept UHC Advantage Gold+ type of insurane even though this portal says he does.
Dr. Ehmer did sinus and septoplasty surgery on my wife, my 2 sons, and on me. He's both a gift technical surgeon and an artist. I've never had a surgery about which I was ecstatic, and that was this surgery. Ticks all the boxes on professionalism, timeliness, skill, and more.
Dr. Ehmer performed multiple surgeries on each of my three sons. During our consultation, he was friendly and personable. However, that was the only time we saw that side of him. We never heard any follow-up from the practice or Dr. Ehmer after having 3 kiddos undergo surgery on the same day. We had to call the doctors after hours line the night of surgery when one of my sons was vomiting blood, and the on-call doctor was very dismissive of my concerns. I visited with Dr. Ehmer for the first time today regarding a problem with hearing in my left ear. He was very kind, took plenty of time to answer every question, explained the upcoming procedure he would be doing, and had great communication skills. After being a Sr. Pastor for more than three decades, I am well schooled at reading people! He seems to be very skillful and I feel very comfortable with him doing my ear surgery. Also, the front desk and Audiologist were very kind as well!
