A few years ago we rented a house from Egghead. The place was a mess when we made our first payment, and we had to clean it ourselves. They gave us permission to paint the 2 bedrooms, so we did... then on the second night living there we found out the place was infested with bedbugs. They said they had a "heat method" that would get rid of them... which failed. They also laid out crushed sea shells, which also didn't work.
