I called to schedule an appointment with an OB. I don't know if I got the answering service or the office, but the receptionist was curt or rushed. She asked who my physician was. When I started to explain that I live overseas and don't have a local physician --nor need one-- she cut me off and transferred me to an office answering service that schedules MRIs. What?! Fortunately that lady was very nice and gave me the number to a different OB.
