It's been 2 years that a home health nurse Dixi from Egan Home Health, came into our home an attempt to steal my moms pain meds after her knee surgery. Little did she know I was watching her every move because it was obvious that she had a problem! Of course Egan homehealth said not Dixi. When Egan was contacted they try to protect the nurse not my mom. That really mad us angry. Thank God I was there to care for my mom because no telling how many others Dixi to advantage of. Bad experience. Terminally ill patient, expected Egan to be ready at home when she got out of the hospital. Expected a nurse, a rolling walker, medication and anything else she needed. What we got was a very nice nurse who appeared to be completely unfamiliar with pertinent medical records and no support from management, director of nursing or medical director. In our opinion, the treatment was cruel. There are many hospice services out there. Pick one. Good luck.
My uncle utilized there services. They had a great staff and took good care of him during a hard time.
