Update: Last month, less than 3 years after installation, we decided to put our E&G air conditioner out of its misery and replace it again. We had 3 different companies come out to look at it after its most recent malfunction and all said the same thing…the unit in the attic had been poorly installed. Parts had been broken by overtightening, and the cost to repair was not small. If I could give 0 stars I would. We had a new air conditioning unit installed by E&G in August of 2022.
