I fell off a ladder and smashed one of my vertebrae 7 years ago. Dr. Coplan was the neurosurgeon on duty at Lehigh Valley Hospital and performed surgery. He removed all the bone fragments and implanted two 8" metal plates with 8 screws. I was in an upper body cast for 2 months.
