We have purchased several pieces on cruises. On our latest cruise we found a band that perfectly accented my wife’s black diamond solitaire. We wanted to purchase two but they only had one on the ship. We are spending a couple days in NYC after this cruise and knowing EFFY is based here I looked them up. They recently moved headquarters so we were sent to the new headquarters. They are opening a retail store here in NYC but not yet open. We purchased an EFFY ring on a cruise ship, off the cuff. We had second thoughts and went to the NYC showroom to return it. We met with the gemologist, Rafi, who went over what we had purchased. Brant showed us some other options, as we felt we over paid for the original ring. The new ring is AMAZING!! We didn’t leave with it, though. My husband bought me a emerald diamond ring for our 50th Anniversary while on Celebrity Cruise. My ring is beautiful, I love it but the whole experience has been terrible. EFFY sales rep told us it could be sized at any Bay Store in Canada! NOT TRUE!! Also told it would be a 2 week turn around till my ring was backto me! NOT TRUE!! When we got back and starting to arrange sizing, we found out getting it done at the Bay was sending it to Vancouver for them to send to New York. We live in Ontario! I returned a ring and a necklace that they received on Friday late morning it is now Wednesday late afternoon and still no email about my return I've had to email them multiple times. I would look at their product in person before you order. The matching silver ring and necklace was okay but it didn't really look like the picture the diamonds in the picture look much bigger had to return it.
