I cannot say enough about Dr. McKinney and the staff at Effingham Veterinary Clinic. We live out of state, but still bring our beloved, elderly dog back here for his veterinary care. With his health declining more recently, Dr. McKinney referred us to a specialist in our area. After a horrific ordeal at our local vet we went to Effingham to this vet, they were kind and compassionate to us and our sophie girl who we had to put to sleep. I will never forget your kindness! Thank you!
I am beyond happy with every service I’ve had here. Dr McKinney explains everything so you can understand and shows mad love for my dog every time we’re there.
I have 2 rescue dogs and felt like our other vet just wasn't as caring, they were getting to be very rough on the dogs and rude to me. Scheduled an appt for my furbabies to get their nails trimmed. Explained our situation of the dogs having anxiety issues and they were beyond understanding. She even sat with my "big baby" and calmed her down before proceeding. I am very impressed and will be switching vets completely. Wonderful people and waiting room was warm and inviting compared to what we are used to.
