i gave this office 1 star but if i could id go lower... Effingham occupational medicine has very unprofessional employees, specifically, the drug testing section/office. The employee mumbled the instructions to someone unfamiliar with drug testing and/or procedures and then proceeded to accuse the person tested of being under the influence of drugs and intentionally interfering with the test. i cannot state how unprofessional this is. those employess are there to administer the tests, not to determine guilt. I just had the worst experience with Dr. Patel's Office. I was accused of insurance fraud when I scheduled an appointment to discuss home health care decisions for my mother with dementia. Dr Patel sent his nurse in who I had never met before. Not knowing that my family had been his clients for well over 20 years, she said we had committed insurance fraud. I am flabbergasted.
