Two weeks ago we purchased half a dozen bushes from this establishment. We looked at several and purchased a particular one that was recommended by the employee assisting us. We were told they were pretty much impossible to ruin and not to worry if anything should happen to them. If anything happened he said to bring them in or take pictures and bring our receipt within one year and they would replace them. I know a lot about plants already, but if I'm designing a new bed and need fresh ideas, I tell them at the check out when I first arrive. They send someone to find me immediately. It's usually the owner too. My only advice is be proactive and don't get upset when employees dash by you. They run all day, keeping their plants watered and ready. But if you need them, they're there. Speak up!
They have a lot of beautiful plants and I drive from a few towns over to Effinger's to purchase their roses BUT I do not like that they tend to constantly walk past you.. will look you right in the eye and not bother to say anything or ask if you need help. I'm sorry but as the customer it would nice to not have to try to run and track down someone for help when their are several workers that fly right by you not saying a word.
