I have received a number of referrals from Effie's for bridal alterations. The brides and bridesmaids have shared their positive experiences with Effie's, and my alterations are done in a very timely manner which makes for very happy brides and bridesmaids. From the minute we walked in the door the staff was friendly, sweet, and accommodating. My sister was the one shopping for the dress but Jordan, the manager, treated my mom, sister, and I like royalty. She let my sister try on whatever she wanted, helped us accessorize, and gave her honest and thoughtful opinion. My experience was great! They helped accommodate my large group (9 people). Elizabeth helped me pick dresses that suited me well. She was very kind and made sure I was getting what I wanted. She even stayed past closing time so we could celebrate and order the dress that day! The dress selection was the best out of any shop I went to. Definitely recommend!
I scheduled an appointment to try on wedding dresses. I arrived to my appointment on time and had to wait in their lobby for 20 mins. I was not able to work the same stylist during my session. The dressing rooms are so small and crampt with the dresses crammed in with me that I wanted to try on. Their dresses are made woman 6'2. So anything I find would need to be altered. The dress I was interested in had a lace train. I was told out would be around $1,500 to alter the dress and keep the lace. Which is absurd! Also I found ... read more
