This is long overdue, and well deserved. Dr. Effie and the entire staff at City Vet Old East Dallas were amazing, helpful, compassionate and so competent last year when my mini-schnauzer Ripley was mauled by two larger dogs off their leashes. I spent most of the month of July 2025 at the Ross Ave clinic taking Ripley for after care, and past the one year mark in late June. Ripley is thankfully and miraculously completely recovered. So grateful to all of the staff at CityVet-OED for their care, understanding and support.

First let me say some staff members have shown grace and do actually love our fur babies. Our dog has experienced several ear infections amongst several other health issues and the recent being a miss diagnosed ear infection which I kept requesting they determine the root cause only for his ear to be packed and sent home with medication that did not work and we were back in the office less than a week only for the Doctor to say they will have to put him to sleep to determine the root cause. Dr Effie and her staff are the best! They are friendly and caring. They make you feel special and Dr Effie is so kind and the best exotic pet vet in the DFW area.
