We used the 3" tongue and groove insulation to insulate our basement walls, and we could feel an immediate difference. It is so warm in fact, that we could feel a pin point where we had missed a little bit of spray foam. It was remarkable! Edwin is professional and personable, and truly does want you to get the best results. A very sharp Olfa knife works great for the warm floor, and a drywall jab saw worked great for the thicker insulation. I have had the opportunity to work with Edwin on several jobs now. He is very informative and knowledgeable when discussing building science and the challenges facing standard building practices. After a lot of research, we decided on Quik-Therm insulation for our basement, and the company directed us to Edwin to place our order. He was incredibly helpful from start to finish, made sure we had all the materials needed to install the insulation and framing, and was always quick to answer any questions we had. The insulation itself is easy to work with and install. And when it's used with the Quik-Therm Warm Floor insulation, it even works as a radon barrier!
