Posting this because I genuinely don’t know how else to try to get in touch with this office. Effect Psych Care was fantastic until the owner came out of no where and got more involved. It’s been downhill ever since. They laid off most of their staff and have been prioritizing sucking as much money as possible out of the clinic instead of providing the vulnerable population they treat with the care they deserve. Horrible after Mark retired. Made a telehealth appointment only to be told I cannot be given my meds. I will be going through withdrawal this weekend. Definitely avoid this place.
Since starting care a little more than a year ago with this office, I've been transferred to 4 different providers in the practice due to the providers finding new clinics and leaving Effective Psych Care or by way of retirement. I've had to retell my story 4 separate times just to get consistent care! On top of inconsistent doctors, the office also does NOT answer their phone. It rings and rings and rings. Bad experience
Had an amazing experience and psychiatrist mark folts until today I went in for regular scheduled appointment at 4:30 to get told my appointment was at 4:00 I know for a fact it wasn’t all my appointments I have scheduled have been for 4:30 bc I have to find a ride bc I don’t have a license to walk in and be greeting by a rude receptionist telling me mark retired they just put me with a random psychiatrist without any warning or anything so I had to reschedule my appointment even though I arrived at 4:20 and could’ve easily ... read more
