I’ve been seeing Tristan about once a month, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. He always starts by asking how I’ve been feeling and tailors each session to exactly what my body needs instead of giving the same massage every time. The name “Effective Bodywork” name really fits. Had a 9am massage scheduled through Class Pass a few days in advance and when I showed up no one was there - texted the provider around 10 mins later and was told they thought it was scheduled for 10am - but then when I said I could accommodate that time, I was told we’d have to reschedule for another day? They did return the credits, but the response was very flippant given I wasted time going there and waiting without receiving any outreach. Tristan is a true professional. The location is in Building 11 and requires a door code to enter, which adds a nice level of privacy. The massage itself was excellent — the pressure was absolutely on point, firm where needed and adjusted perfectly throughout. You can tell he really knows what he’s doing. I left feeling much more relaxed and noticeably better. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a skilled and thoughtful massage therapist.
