We stayed here for 3 nights on our way to the Snowy Mountains with kids, and it was perfect! Great location, very clean and well-managed, and lots to do around the property if you have time – it’s worth spending a whole day just relaxing here. It’s a beautiful spot for a large family. Only small things: as a chef, I noticed the pantry had lots of spices, but some were past date – maybe it’s better to clear them out sometimes. Also, the vacuum cleaner battery didn’t last very long. We had a an incredible time with the whole family over the New Year for 2025. There was so much space and plenty for everyone of all ages. The house itself is kind of 1970s inspired interior design, with mazelike hallways leading to a games room that’s the equivalent of passing through the gates of Narnia. Quite exciting, even for the adults. We hope to make this a regular place we visit when we come to Jindabyne with the family.

I will never ever shut up about how wonderful my time at Edzell was last year in July. First off, the house is beautiful with a lovely view of the snowy mountains and lake and it’s very close- my family visited the lake every day. It was a must that every single night was spent in the entertainment room- playing pool mostly. From waking up in the morning and looking out over the lake to when you relax by the fire at night, this house is such a unique mountain experience. Whether it be summer activities (fly fishing, hiking and mountain biking) to winter snow sports this place accommodates all in a comfortable, luxe holiday setting. My family and I have stayed several times and will be back for many more. A true 5 star experience.
