Melba, and Edwards Properties in general, were liars who had no interest in their tenants other than robbing them of over $1000 in the security deposit. We decided upon the house based on its stellar location, and while we knew the house was old, Melba assured us the house was well taken care of and cleaned before we moved in. The house wasn't repainted cleaned before we moved in. There was scum in the showers, toothpaste in the sink, and spackle haphazardly thrown up on some of the walls.
