Dr Edwards This is the daughter of Dorothy W. a patient of yours at University of Wisconsin Madison who you performed a bovine aortic valve replacement 20 years ago in March. My mother is still alive and doing great! She has never had any valve repair at all so your original valve replacement has lasted almost 20 years. My father came from a different hospital with Congestive Heart Failure and met with Dr. Edwards. This was all very new to me, so I came in with millions of questions worried about my father. Without hesitation Dr. Edwards answered all of my questions and made me feel very at ease. While home instead of having a PA call us Dr Edwards called us himself to ask how my dad is doing and btw take this amt of med now instead. I cannot thank you enough for saving my dad's life! I am alive today because Dr. Niloo Edwards was my surgeon. I needed a mechanical aortic valve; Dr. Edwards did the surgery, but he did so-much more. He didn't just operate on a body--he saved my Life, he took into account who *I* am, the soul who accompanies that body. Every day of my Life, I thank God for Dr. Edwards.
In January of 2016 I underwent cardiac surgery and had excellent results. My surgery consisted of a valve replacement and a 5 bypass procedure. Dr. Edwards was my Surgeon and I am very satisfied with his services. Reg Facteau, Plattsburgh, NY
Don't go bother with Dr.Edwards if you refuse blood He's a coward He flat out refused to do my mothers surgery because she refused to accept blood Instead of talking alternatives my mother found a top surgeon in the country who was happy to perform the surgery honoring her religious beliefs My mother was transferred to NYU but unfortunately they did not prep her properly for the trip and she passed upon arrival He should of honored her wishes He is a coward!!!
