We reviewed X-rays taken minutes before. He showed me the new kind of knee he would use and talked about its features. He asked me if I really wanted to do the surgery( gave me the chance to change my mind). I was of the opinion it had to be done to return to normal life and as I just turned 78, perhaps the sooner the better.
