The severely negative reviews are right on. You will never experience the unbelievable condescension and supreme rudeness and total lack of humanity of the office staff here. I wouldn’t care if it was Jonas Salk there is no reason to subject yourself to the kind of rudeness from the less than human staff here. They delight in being as unhelpful and rude to patients as possible. Just don’t go there, go to a public health facility before you go to this horrible place.
Hands down the worst office ever! Dr. Scheckowitz, himself, is very nice. But his office staff is the absolute worst! They are unorganized, rude, and just don’t care about patients. From making an appointment for us when they didn’t have our full blood report back, to not calling us to schedule an appointment after getting results for another (very important and sensitive) test. Dr. Sheckowitz is a highly skilled specialist in urology. He is low-key. He explains all procedures, very clearly and easy to understand. I would recommend him to anyone wanting an excellent urologist.
Tried to get appt. Totally impossible to get them to call you back. I waited 5 days for a recall. In the meantime I have a history of bladder cancer peeing clots and pink urine. The staff didn't 2 hoots about me. Just another number. Once she called me back she stated ,very rudely, that he wouldn't see me because I already had a urologist ( who I wanted to change to this dr). This is a reflection on this group because of their idiot staff
Dr. Scheckowitz is not only an outstanding medical professional, he is a terrific person. He performed a procedure that I previously had (with other doctors) with minimal discomfort (both during the procedure and afterwards) and little apprehension. If you need a urologist, there is no better doctor.
Great bedside manner. Explains everything well. Listens to the patient’s concerns and then suggests ways to treat the issue.
Dr Scheck is very caring and never gets flustered He is very low key and never makes you feel that whatever issue hes treating is incurable... Very calming ....
