I'm 64 with a bad right knee from catching since 6 years old. Had worsening pain and Dr Mairura replaced it 2 weeks ago and released me for outside physical therapy . His whole team is amazing. Recommend him and I would let him do my left knee if needed.
The surgeon is excellent. He made me confident before the surgery and behold everything went successfully.

Since then Akebra has been a LIFESAVER when it came to my insurance and work documentation, completing and submitting paperwork with urgency. I literally could not have done this without Akebra. She has made the process so much easier.
Very personable, caring. Treats patients like family. Dr. Mairura treats the whole patient…..orthopedically and emotionally. When faced with an overwhelming orthopedic decision, Dr. M. provided tissue for tears and assuring comfort for fears. There’s none better.
