I have been denied my own medical records from Dr.Lee's office and I am being victimized, through extreme pain from the injuries of surgical malpractices that he worked on. My life is in real danger and proof of injuries is absolutely necessary! One of his interns stating having written in the New England Journal of medicine in regards to my case without asking my permission,labeled a medical miracle, but I have been predatorized and assaulted, while lawsuits are obstructed in regards to these malpractices. Couldn’t ask for a better doctor. So down to earth. He was funny, compassionate, calming, and made my very difficult health issues feel much less overwhelming. So refreshing to meet a doctor that is optimistic and reassuring. It is rare to find a good doctor in the Capital Region. Dr. Lee did a J-Pouch surgery for my severe IBD, and it went extremely well. I'm living a normal life now which is exactly what I was hoping for.
At Albany Medical Center, Dr. Edward Lee MD ignored records for recent colorectal surgery performed out of state, setting them aside unread at intake. Without asking for my permission, he proceeded to invite an intrusive resident into the exam room. In front of the resident, Dr. Lee then conducted an unnecessary and invasive exam, found nothing, but still billed Medicare at high expense. Was referred to Dr. Chismark by my primary. Saw Dr. Lee in July because Dr. Chismark had a wait list. My appointments with him felt very rushed. His bed side manner could be better but he was competent. Every appointment required a copay with my insurance and my appointments were less than 3 minutes with the doctor each visit. Again, he’s competent as a doctor and was able to quickly diagnose my issues in my initial appointment, but he rushed me out of the door with a treatment that wasn’t covered by insurance. I tried calling for 5 days just to cancel an appointment. I sat on my phone 2 hours a day. This is terrible customer service
