1. had my newborn daughter tested for jaundice here. around 6pm, i got a call from the doc office saying the lab lost the sample and we need to go back to the INPATIENT lab (different lab and get tested ASAP. they close at 7 (which means i had an hr to find childcare for my toddler and get the newborn tested). we live half an hr away... the lab didnt have the decency to call me and tell me this before they left for the day. 2. i contacted patient experience to complain, the lab manager amy then finally called me and made all... read more
I went in to have bloodwork done at 3:40 for them to tell me that the lady in front of me would be the last to be seen for the day after we waited in line for 10 minutes. Very unprofessional.
Needed to pick up an urgent testing kit. Lab closed at 3:30…arrived at 3:32 with lab receptionist sitting at her desk snarking at me and shaking her head…really? Another minute for a stat medical test that the doctor sent me to pick up on a Friday so I could complete it on the weekend, not even administer, is not very kind.
IF YOU MAKE AN APPOINTMENT, things will likely go much better. Having said that, I have walked in and got out in a reasonable amount of time.
