I can't say enough good things about Dr. Lipke! After a nightmare visit to my regular dentist (an unsuccessful root canal--he couldn't numb my nerve and I had a lot of pain), I was referred to Dr. Lipke. I was terrified after my first root canal fiasco, so I didn't have high hopes. Dr. Lipke was very kind and understanding, even with my neurotic questioning, and talked me through every step of the process, checking in to make sure I was comfortable all the way. I was referred to Dr. Lipke from my regular dentist. She explained that he is extremely skilled and was often able to save teeth that were, in her opinion, beyond saving. My dentist also uses Dr. Lipke. I was very happy with the outcome of my procedure. He took the time to explain ever step and made sure that was comfortable.
I had an infection and needed a root canal re-treat. I went to Dr. Young Bui (an associate of Dr. Amy Dukoff) and he failed to complete the root canal after trying twice. Not only he still charged me $294 dollars for "Incomplete Root Canal", he suggested me to have my tooth extracted and do an implant. I do believe in second opinion for any major procedure, so I went to Dr. Lipke for help -- he proved that Dr. Bui was just incompetent but not that my tooth cannot be saved! Dr. Lipke comes off as somewhat grumpy and distant, but he is very good at what he does. The two root canals he has performed for me went very fast and were virtually painless. His staff is very warm and friendly.
Dr. Lipke is an extremely professional and proficient Endodontist. His staff is equally as professional. He explained everything he was doing - I had a root canal done - in clear and concise terms and alerted me right before I would fee any pain. He is organized, neat, and most of all a very nice and caring person. I felt very comfortable and confident in his care. I highly recommend him!
Dr. Lipke and his staff are very friendly and caring. I had a root canal performed that was painless. The treatment chair has a back massager!!
