Can only say Dr. Haupt is a surgeon to reach out to when only the best and brightest will do. Back in 2011 I saw Dr Joseph Whalen (Mayo) for my Ankle, he said "wait", which I did. In 2024 it was time. I went back to Mayo and saw Dr Edward Haupt. Very pleasant, informative and best of all not an alarmist. I had an ankle joint replacement yesterday 4-15-24 by Dr Edward Haupt. He is a top notch surgeon and his bedside manner is impeccable! He prayed with me before surgery. The staff and all employees at Mayo Clinic are friendly, professional and kind to the patients. We love the Mayo experience.

I can’t say enough about Dr Haupt. He basically reconstructed my foot and ankle after a traumatic crushing injury. I have been in severe pain for 3 yrs. I had a previous surgery that didn’t address any of my problems. I’ve seen four other specialist to no avail. It wasn’t until I saw Dr. Haupt that he found the issues and solved it with several surgeries at once. He is honest and his bedside manner is absolutely wonderful. I highly recommend him.
