This Dr was assigned to me at pascack valley in Westwood for discharge after a total hip replacement surgery he prescribed a medication that required prior authorization for my insurance to pay. When I finally got a hold of him he proceeds to question me about why I can’t afford $30 a day on this medication. Which means the total script would cost me about $650. Dr. Gold could be the kindest, most patient doctor I've been to. He really listens, cares and exhausts all possibilities to help find the cause of what ails you. He knows his stuff, and takes the time to explain to you in as much detail as you care to absorb. Thanks, Doc.
My husband and I both had our first appointments the same morning. He was thorough and not rushed. His staff was capable and kind. He gave us his opinion about specialists we needed. The staff was able to arrange these appointments and imaging referrals were given with amazing speed. Dr. Gold answered after visit question almost immediately on the My Chart system.
Absolutely AWFUL billing experience. Had a virtual appointment in November. Finally got the bill for it end of January. They didn't run it through my insurance and didn't attach my SSN so I couldn't just pay it online anyway. I called to ask and the woman told me she'd send it back through insurance and that I should ignore this bill as I would receive a new one.
