If you ask Dr. Esparza a question concerning treatment, options, or anything else, you’re lucky if you get more than a 3 or 4 word answer. He probably knows what he’s doing. I’m just saying he does it without compassion and/or realization that there might be other options for his patients. I won’t go back to him.
I had met with Dr. Esparza for my skin concerns. He given me options on either to biopsy and when results are back in a few weeks to follow up with certain treatments or to do the treatments now if urgent. And, I had chosen the biopsy and wait. The biopsy was rather quick and he was gentle. I had good experience with him with the results was provided in a timely manner and didn't need to come back for treatment.
Be careful going to see him at the Virginia mason downtown hospital. I went to get a mole checked and he removed to send to lab and was charged double because it was done at his office in the hospital (over $1300) which my insurance would only pay half. If I would of known I would of found someone else.
