I’ve been seeing him almost 30 years. He’s very easy to talk to. He’s my primary care doctor. I like that he’s honest with me. He tells me what I need to know without talking down to me. I’m now 72. In the past 10 years I’ve had: hysterectomy, gallbladder remover, thyroid cancer, both knees replaced, and bladder lift. The specialists surgeons focused on their areas. Dr Sledge is a very thorough, and caring doctor. He listens to what you have to say and goes above and beyond to make sure the best care is provided. Dr. Sledge has been our family doctor for years. Everyone of us has high respect for him.

With Dr Sledge you're a patient not a customer. He takes time with listening to you, answering questions I way you can understand. He positive but honest. He reads and responds to emails (via Ochsners patient portals) himself.
