Dr Eckert is truly the most unprofessional doctor I’ve ever had the misfortunate of working with. I had a very disappointing (devastating actually) experience with this hormone/functional medicine doctor. I felt completely unheard, he did not allow me to fully explain my symptoms / concerns and would just up my dosage. I went to see Dr. Eckert in hopes of continuing my hormone therapy that I had received from a prominent Functional Medicine Dr that was out of pocket and Dr. Eckert took insurance. He wasn't worth the savings. He said he new exactly what I needed and had me buy his prescription for troches then when the hormones harming me and were completely out of ranges for my age (58) at the time, he had the nerve to say tjat most of his patients were in their 30's) as if that were some kind of excuse. I was looking for a Doctor able to prescribe a comprehense hormonal treatment based on natural hirmones and adapted to my needs.Never found one. Until a friend referred me to Doctor Eckert as he is her doctor for 20 years. I started my treatment 2 months ago and highly recommend this doctor. Dr Eckerd is not only a great doctor but over the years has become a trusted friend. It's great to know that he is the guru of bioidentical hormones and his knowledge has carried me through the rollercoaster of menopause with flying colors. I must be honest n say that this doctor is very shadey.i was treated incorrectly with a false diagnosis n was pressured into buying snake oil.i know i should have not used him.i was desperate n uncomfortable.i am extremely disappointed and more but i wont mention.go at your own risk
